About Me
My Passion.....

My interest and passion is to help those who live with chronic pain conditions such as FIBROMYALGIA, ARTHRITIS, BACK/NECK PAIN, etc.

I use a variety of techniques in an integrated session as well as teaching you how to help yourself during those times when professional help is not available.  I believe this gives you the tools you need to take a more positive, hopeful approach in choosing to participate in your healing process.  Consistency of treatment, some possible lifestyle alterations and education CAN help you feel better beyond just massage.

In 1983, after sustaining a knee injury which required surgery, I met a wonderful hands-on-oriented physical therapist (for my own therapy) who encourage me to attend massage therapy school and get my State Board's license. Following my Boards, I was hired by this PT to work in the hospital physical therapy department with a large variety of patients referred by the medical community. In 1986, I began my training in Craniosacral Therapy (CST) through the Upledger Institute (West Palm Beach, FL), headed by world-famous Dr. John Upledger, forerunner of craniosacral therapy.

Having lived with chronic pain myself for almost 12 years at that time, I was delighted to find great and longer-lasting relief from pain through craniosacral therapy (CST). All our department therapists were trained in CST and Myofascial Release techniques and patients were found to respond with better results through this multi-modality approach—beyond just massage and traditional therapies.

I have also completed the Travell Trigger Point 100 hour Series by Dr. Janet Travell, who was President John F. Kennedy's personal White House physician. Dr. Travell literally 'wrote the book' on trigger point therapy with over 40 years of research and experience.
